All true… but Jews who want out can do so out of ease and tolerance (here in USA) or overt anti-Jewish hatred (many times/locales in Europe). Let’s be willing to look at the good side: American tolerance has allowed the biggest flowering of Orthodox Judaism in 2,000 years of exile. Along side the assimilation has been unique success for Torah.
An excellent read on my favorite Parsha, Rabbi! “Ani Yosef” – I get a lot of mileage from that pasuk. Very true the ‘silent holocaust’ aspect of assimilation and dilution in cultures like America. No matter what we must be ever vigilant of our Jewish lineage, and that will guarantee the Jewish people to be a ‘great nation.’ Shabbat Shalom!
